A Life Begun from the beginning

The book "A Life Begun" was written by my husband Brian, it is the true story of our daughter Emily who was born very premature and weighed 14.7 ounces.  We decided to share her story, for many reasons the most obvious one is we wanted to provide hope to other parents of premature babies, most especially those parents of micro-preemies like our Emily. When she was first born we tried very hard to find books about a baby as small as Emily, & while we did find a few books on micro-preemies we never did find one about a baby that weighed as little as she did at birth that had a happy ending.  We wanted to provide hope to other families.  We also decided to write it for my mom.  You'll learn about her & how her story intertwines with Emily's birth.   We really are very proud of the book, we hope that you'll read it.  It's really a very amazing story, about the will of a tiny baby & us as her parents who struggle to decide what at times is right for us to do for her.   Spoiler: Today Emily is 12 years old & entering 7th grade.  To say she is smart is an understatement, she's super smart, & has received straight A's since she entered school.  She's one of those kids who started reading at 2 1/2 & could recite the presidents in order at 5. She's in the advance placement classes at school. :) The skies the limit for her! As such any profits off the sales of the book will go towards Emily's college fund.  I can't even tell you how fast the time has gone, but also I am so proud of all we conquered together as a family.  So whether you're a parent of a premature baby who needs a little hope after months in the NICU or just started that scary NICU ride, this book will provide you with hope.  Even if you've never experienced the NICU but just are a person looking for some hope, this book will provide it!  If you have any questions for Brian or I (Or Emily for that matter) please feel free to comment.  If you do decide to purchase this book,  we would really appreciate if you would leave a review after you're done reading it. Thank you.
